MAGNETIC TUBES

Magnetic tubes are commonly used in slow, free flowing materials such as grain, food, Spices, plastic and chemical fertilizer. The tubes can be installed individually in one row or multiple rows. Standard spacing between the tubes are 2-inch horizontally and vertically center-to-center. When multiple rows are needed for better separation, the tubes should be staggered. Other center-to-center arrangements can be accomplished depending on product flow characteristics and flow rates. The rule of thumb for determining the center-to-center distance is that installations must not cause product bridging and allow easy access for cleaning.

TUBES CONSTRUCTIONS

Magnetic Hold magnetic tubes are constructed of 1 inch diameter 304 nonmagnetic stainless steel (S.S.). End plugs are continuously welded. End plugs can be smooth (300 S.S.) or threaded and countersunk (400 S.S.) to your specifications. Magnetic load can be made with Ceramic, Alnico or Neodymium magnet material.

MAGNETIC GRATES

Magnetic Hold Magnetic Grates consist of magnetic tubes and frames welded into a complete unit. They can be placed inside hoppers and bins and removed for cleaning. Magnetic Grates are made to your specifications. Common configurations are round, square and rectangular. They are available with round or angular baffles for maximum magnetic field exposure. For slow moving materials, Magnetic Grates can be made without baffles.
